It can increase bone mineral density but also prevent its degenaration as you get older, preventing osteoporosis.Osteoarthritis is very common in people over 50. Execise can prevent, treat and reduce the pain of osteoarthritis.Exercise reduces the risk of certain cancers as well as prevent and manage diabetes. There is research that suggests that exercise is as effective for treating depression as other methods such as medicine, but without the side effects.Exercise may also help you if you suffer from disorders relating to anxiety such as phobias, panick attacks and stress. Exercise can make you feel happier, improve your sense of wellbeing, provide better sleep, lower stress levels and improve self-image. It can also improve brain function in children and older adults. Exercise is also great for weight management. It can help you maintain a healthy weight as well as help you lose weight.
